Protect Your Building in Seconds
Instant, automated lockdown systems for schools, offices and commercial premises across Northamptonshire. One button press secures your entire building.
What Is a Lockdown System?
Total Building Security at the Touch of a Button
A lockdown system allows staff to secure an entire building — or specific areas with a single action. When a threat is detected, doors lock automatically, alerts are sent to staff and emergency services, and real-time information is provided throughout the incident.
Hampton Security designs and installs lockdown systems tailored to your building's layout and risk profile. Whether you manage a school, office, healthcare facility or commercial site, we'll ensure your people are protected and your response is immediate.
As SSAIB-approved installers, every system we fit meets the highest industry standards for reliability and performance.

Hampton installed our fire alarm system, and we could not be more pleased with the entire experience. From the very first point of contact right through to the completion of the work, the communication was excellent — prompt, clear, and professional throughout. The team's attendance on site was punctual and reliable, and the standard of work carried out was first-rate. Everything was completed on time and to a very high standard, which made the whole process seamless and stress-free. I would not hesitate to recommend Hampton to anyone seeking a trustworthy and professional fire alarm installation service. A thoroughly well-deserved five stars.

If only we had known about HAMPTON SECURITY 4 years back. We had some issue with our old system and on searching discovered Hamptons. Tom came and did all that was necessary, and on completion gave a full report for our reference. Best of all, he discussed a front door alert which could be available on our system — something we had never been told about. This was a great extra measure for us as elderly, disabled individuals to have. Dom came the next day and made it louder to suit my needs. Both Tom and Dom were polite, knowledgeable, and very supportive. Very pleased with Hamptons and will contact them again.

The job was professionally done. The engineer took his time to show me how to operate the system. I will recommend the company to my friends.
Who Needs a Lockdown System?
Lockdown systems are no longer exclusive to high-security environments. Schools, colleges, GP surgeries, offices and retail sites across the UK are adopting them in response to rising security expectations and new legislation.
Martyn's Law is introducing new legal requirements for venues and public spaces to have robust emergency plans in place. A lockdown system is a key part of meeting those obligations and demonstrating a duty of care to staff, students and visitors.
Insurance providers are also increasingly recommending — and in some cases requiring — automated lockdown capability as part of commercial security policies.
