We have more than 10 years of experience protecting people and property. We use the latest technology ensuring fires are detected immediately, helping to minimise the damage caused.
At Hampton Fire & Security, we’ll work with you to understand your buildings layout, your requirements and recommend the right fire protection solution for you. As well as designing and installing your fire alarm system, we will help you stay compliant by maintaining it too, so you can have peace of mind that you’re doing everything to protect your staff and business.
Installation and commissioning is undertaken by our highly trained engineers whilst minimising disruption to your business. Upon completion, a full demonstration and training will be provided for you and your staff.
MAINTENANCE
Once your fire alarm system is installed, we recommend yearly or bi-annual maintenance visits in accordance with BS5839. Our maintenance contracts are adapted to suit your business and ensure compliance at all times.
Maintenance will be carried out by our knowledgeable engineers, who will train your staff and fulfil your alarm servicing requirements. Our engineers will test every aspect of your fire alarm, looking for any potential issues and minimising any false alarms.
Alongside our regular maintenance visits, Hampton Fire & Security are available for emergency call outs, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
24/7 REMOTE ALARM MONITORING
Protect your property and assets with instant notifications through our remote monitoring service. We can install a signalling device directly to your fire alarm, or to cut costs we can link the fire alarm to your Intruder Alarm's signalling device.
If activated, your fire alarm will transmit an immediate signal to local emergency services and nominated staff members, enabling a fast response to your property which will minimise damage and protect your assets.
Manual Call Points
We use flush or surface mounted call points which allow you to alert your staff or visitors of a fire immediately.
Smoke, Heat, Multi and CO Detectors
We use specific types of detectors to ensure the fastest response to detecting a fire around your premises.
Sounders and Visual Alarms
Flashing beacons and visual aids for hearing impaired people or noisy areas.
It's recommended by British Standard BS5839, that fire alarms should be tested once a week by a responsible, competent person.
Whilst your yearly fire alarm maintenance checks are a thorough inspection of your entire fire alarm system, weekly testing is a vital test of your systems integrity. It's purpose is to check that your fire alarm is in full working condition for the remaining 50 weeks of the year that we aren't there. All devices will be activated when you carry out your test and if there's any underlying issues, these will be flagged up by your panel, allowing you to get these problems rectified ASAP.
We also offer a weekly fire alarm testing service, which is available for sites that are not manned or where achieving your weekly tests may not be possible. For more information on this, please get in touch.
